Though off to rough start, which postponed Caelen's pursuit of photography until he had developed more advanced motor skills, Caelen knew he would handle a camera again. Starting at a young age with that same dented Canon of his infantile youth, Caelen soon began saving his bi-weekly allowance to pay for his film to be developed and prints materialized. For the next few years he always scraped together just enough to get it done. During his early teens he attended the community college in his birthplace of Prescott, Arizona for Black and White traditional photography, later also studying Digital Photography and Photoshop Techniques. Caelen moved to the UK in 2005 to pursue Theological Study in York. Though he has taken a break from formal photographic schooling to spend time with his beautiful wife and new baby girl, he has always continued to study in his spare time, and challenge the limits within himself and his photography. Caelen enjoys the challenges of photography, be it weddings or otherwise, as he captures the moments and memories in a candid, journalistic and unobtrusive method. He is an artist who loves to learn, experiment and play. Shoot him an email...there's never a dumb question! |
